E-DRUG: WHO updates Essential Medicines List (3)

Dear e-druggers
We were too late with our suggestion that co-packaged ORS and Zinc should
be included on the WHO Essential Medicines List for Children for the home
treatment of diarrhoea. However, the suggestion was well received and
supported including by the Hon Minister of Health for Zambia Dr Chitalu
Chilufya.
We are now organising ourselves for the next meeting of the EML Committee
and support from anyone who has been through this process before would be
gratefully received.
