Workshop on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP)
May 21 - 24, 1998 at Holiday Inn Islamabad Hotel, Islamabad, Pakistan.
OBJECTIVE:
i) to impart intensive training to the technical personnel
on various aspects of Current Good Manufaturing
Practices which require continuos updating, and
play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety
and efficacy of drugs. The key personnel
entrusted with planning, development, execution
and updating the GMP shall be given thorough
re-orientation and intensive training with
special emphasis on practical aspects.
ii) To provide oppurtunity to the decision makers
working under the Federal and Provincial Health
Ministries and pharmaceutical sector for the
exchange of information and experiences on the
development and implementationof GMP.
ORGANIZATION:
The Workshop is being organized by the Ministry
of Health with the active collaboration and
support of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical
Manufacturers Association (PPMA), Drug
Information Association, USA (DIA). Experts of
international repute rom Canada, Australia, UK
and Pakistan will conduct the Workshop.
