Survey on where/how Pay for Performance (P4P) is being used to improve
health outcomes ? deadline MAY 25th ? rewards offered for most
comprehensive responses
Dear Colleagues,
As you may know, rewarding health system actors based on their
performance (a strategy called ?payment for performance?, or P4P) has
gained increased international attention in recent years as a potential
mechanism to improve developing country health outcomes.
With the goal of beginning to systematically document ?who is doing
what? with regards to P4P in health, the USAID-financed Health System
20/20 Project is currently implementing a survey on P4P.
As our goal is to have preliminary findings ready by summer and a final
report by autumn 2009, we anticipate only being able to include
responses that reach us by May 25, 2009. In order to motivate those
responsible for or involved in P4P programs to complete this survey and
return it by the desired date, we are offering rewards.
