DRUG SUPPLIES
The PAHO/WHO humanitarian supply management system (LSS/SUMA) continues
operating in the airport, jointly with the Haitian Civil Defense, in the
consolidation and management of donations. This system generates reports
for national authorities as well as OCHA and the Logistic Cluster. In the
Dominican Republic, team members are supporting the use of this system,
and countries that have been sending humanitarian aid to Haiti are also
using LSS/SUMA for classification.
The list of medicines and medical supplies available in PROMESS has been
sent to all the members of the Health Cluster. Two containers with
medicines and medical supplies arrived yesterday at PROMESS.
