The African Centre for Pharmacovigilance (ACC), is a not-for-profit coordinating the governmental, non-governmental and private sector initiatives in pharmacovigilance of three leading, pharmacovigilance organisations – the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre for Advocacy and Training in Pharmacovigilance (WHO-CC) of the University of Ghana; the African Union/NEPAD Regional Centre of Regulatory Excellence (RCORE) in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmaco-epidemiology and Sante-Afrique International Limited, the parent organisation in contract with the Uppsala Monitoring Centre, Sweden for pharmacovigilance développent in Africa.

MEDICINE SAFETY RESEARCH & PUBLICATION
The ACC has been involved in the safety monitoring of medicines used in the treatment or prevention of malaria. It is at the forefront on global discussions on the approaches for the safety monitoring of the new malaria vaccine.
