[Kees de Joncheere est nommé Directeur du Département des médicaments essentiels et politiques pharmaceutiques de l'OMS -Genève. Kees de Joncheere est pharmacien, et il a travaillé 11 années en Amérique Latine (PAHO) et 15 ans à WHO/EURO en soutien aux pays Européens et aux systèmes pharmaceutique des pays. Il est en poste pour l'OMS en Ukraine actuellement.CB]

[E-Drug learned that the WHO DG has appointed Kees de Joncheere as the new Director Essential Medicines and Pharmaceuticals Policies (EMP) in Geneva. After Hans Hogerzeil left last year, the position of Director EMP was vacant. Kees de Joncheere is a pharmacist, and worked 11 years in Latin America (PAHO) and 15 years in WHO/EURO in support of the European and CIS countries pharmaceutical systems. Currently he is the WHO representative in Ukraine. Like Hans, Kees is also Dutch! We wish our colleague E-drugger Kees all the best in his new job! WB]
