Conference & Abstract Registration: A First in Conference History
The XIII International AIDS Conference will:
- Break the silence on the devastation wreaked by AIDS.
- Break the silence on the inequity surrounding AIDS treatments.
- Break the silence on the tardy implementation of effective measures
to stem the spread of HIV.
- Break the silence on discrimination, stigmatization, ignorance and
bigotry.

walls of silence around HIV/AIDS, the Conference and Abstract Sessions
are now just a touch of a button away! Thanks to some innovative plan-
ning by members of the AIDS 2000 team, applicants can now register 'on-
line' for the first time in conference history!!

Abstracts:
Apply for Oral Abstracts and Late Breaker Abstracts by filling in the
form on our Website and ensure that the instructions indicated are
closely followed. Receipt of abstract will be acknowledged. Please note
that we are unable to receive documents containing images, tables or
other non-text objects, and that abstracts must be received no later
than February 1, 2000.
Conference Registration:
All XIII International AIDS Conference delegates can now also register
by filling in the official registration form (as with Abstract regis-
tration, please follow the instructions provided).
Payment:
As registration fees must accompany all Conference registrations, dele-
gates wishing to register on the Website, may use their credit card
(American Express, Visa or Mastercard/Eurocard) for charging all costs.
Please indicate the name of the cardholder, number and expiry date on
the registration form. Registration will be confirmed when payment has
been received.
All applicants will receive a confirmation letter that will include
your registration number and other important information. Remember to
bring this confirmation letter to Durban - it is required along with
proof of identification such as a passport - to receive your Conference
badge, bag and documents.
