[afro-nets] Challenge Facility for Civil Society

Cross posted from “AIDS Beyond Borders” <AIDS-Beyond-Borders@googlegroups.com>

Dear Partners and Friends,

It gives me great pleasure to announce the second round of the Stop TB Partnership's Challenge Facility for Civil Society. This second round will provide much-needed funds to grass-roots civil society organizations whose work focuses on TB in countries affected by the disease. Applications focusing on all aspects of TB -- multidrug-resistant TB, TB/HIV, and neglected populations, for example -- are welcome.

The Challenge Facility aims to make the voices of vulnerable communities, including those affected by tuberculosis, heard by local and national policy makers. Thanks to our donors, this facility will support civil society activities designed to attract greater attention from governments to the prevention, treatment and control of this often lethal yet curable disease.

We invite eligible organizations to apply -- please spread the word. For more information please visit

With best wishes,

Dr Marcos A Espinal - Executive Secretary
