Are you thinking about the implications of information technology to
your work??

Then you should read:

"Get Connected - Using electronic networking to strengthen partnerships and
collaboration"

This draft paper (from the UNAIDS Asia Pacific Inter-country Team in
Bangkok) considers some of the broad implications of electronic networking
to the development of inter-country and interdisciplinary partnerships in
the area of HIV/AIDS and other health or development issues. It also
summarises some of the lessons learned in establishing SEA-AIDS, the
electronic mail-based information support services for the Asia Pacific
region that now brings together over 750 organizations.

"Get Connected" is an attempt to document current thinking in this area,
and so is undergoing constant revision. YOU ARE INVITED to add your
comments, criticisms, additions or modifications to this document. Based
on feedback received a second draft will be made available in August. All
contributions will be acknowledged in the final version, which will be made
available at the Manila Congress and elsewhere.

Please send your comments (and name and organisational affiliation if
