Friends,
We very much appreciate those who contributed and will do to the Super-
course by providing a lecture. We have two new lectures ready for re-
view and four new lectures will soon appear. Another 15 to 20 lectures
will appear in a few months. Below is some description of these lec-
tures.
Your contribution as a lecturer would be extremely appreciated. We put
an instruction to the author's page in the below URL:

Description of the new and coming lectures
1. Two new lectures on the Supercourse which are now up on the web:
Micheline Beaudry, Professor of Community Nutrition and Interna-
tional Nutrition at Universite Laval describes Nutrition and Global
Health. Do you know how many people suffer from, for example, iron
deficiency anaemia globally? The statistics might surprise you. She
also describes the underlying cause of these conditions and the
reader will learn there are affordable solutions. The other one is
on descriptive epidemiology of Multiple Sclerosis.
2. Four new lectures which will soon appear on the Supercourse: Ralph
Cordell with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USA pro-
vided a lecture on Investigation and Control of Outbreaks of Food
borne diseases. This lecture is very suspenseful and catches all the
readers as he talks from his real life experience.
Rimei Nishimura emphasises the importance and usefulness of epide-
miology in his lecture 'Why should medical students be interested in
Epidemiology?'. He graduated from medical school in Japan several
years ago. This is a lecture for all the medical students and they
would love this.
Molecular biology has impacted greatly on science even society. Epi-
demiology is not an exception. Janice Dorman talks about its evolu-
tion and excitement in her lecture 'Introduction of Molecular Epide-
miology.
Humbert Guerra, Instituto Medicina, Universidad Peruana from Peru
gives a lecture on Malaria. Is Malaria being eradicated successfully
or not? He describes the issue globally and locally (Peru) with some
unforgettable photos, one of them is the pretty mosquito picture
which may make you 'ITCH'.

ful lecture on History of PAHO.

Health and Environment in Sustainable Development.
