Country Director, Mozambique
Provides leadership and management oversight for all FHI’s portfolio and activities of the Mozambique country office; oversees operations and, as the primary FHI country representative, ensures strong collaboration between FHI and local Government, donors and sponsors. Represents FHI to external donors/sponsors and leads FHI business and resource development efforts in Mozambique. Also serves as project director or chief of party (COP) on FHI project/s in the country. BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience; Or MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience; or PhD/MD and 5-7 years relevant experience. overseas field experience required. Portuguese language ability required.

Country Director, Bangladesh

BS/BA in public health or related field, and 11-13 years relevant experience in international development programs with 5-7 years supervisory experience. or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 9 - 11 years relevant experience; or PhD, MD or equivalent degree with 7 - 9 years relevant experience. Senior Technical Officer, Surveillance, APRO (Bangkok, Thailand)
To manage overall technical assistance in, ensure the quality of, and to provide selected direct assistance in surveillance, research and evaluation in the Asia Pacific Region. Main responsibilities include: Manages the overall international technical assistance in surveillance, research, and evaluation provided to countries in the FHI Asia Region; Provides leadership in surveillance, research, and evaluation by ensuring innovation and state-of-art programming; Supervises staff in surveillance, research, and evaluation; Liaisons and coordinates technical assistance in the Asia Pacific Region with the Director, Surveillance, Research, and Evaluation, in the FHI Arlington office; Provides direct technical assistance and capacity building in the development, implementation, and monitoring of surveillance, research, and evaluation; Collaborates with research organizations in Asia Pacific Region in the design an analysis of evaluation-related and HIV epidemiologic research, etc. Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or DrPH) in epidemiology or related field with extensive coursework in epidemiologic research; or equivalent years of education and experience and; 5 years experience in managing and conducting HIV epidemiologic research or evaluating HIV prevention programs utilizing quantitative research methodologies, including on year experience interacting with USAID missions, plus documented experience in writing research for publications. Experience must reflect knowledge, skills, and abilities described above. Excellent English language skills necessary.

Senior Technical Officer, Strategic Information (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)
The Senior Technical Officer, Strategic Information is responsible for providing technical leadership and innovation in the area of HIV surveillance, special studies, size estimations and evaluations that will guide evidence-based programming and effective responsiveness to the HIV epidemic in Cambodia. Position is based at Phnom Penh. BS/BA in public health or related field, and 7-9 years relevant experience in surveillance, evaluation and research, HIV/AIDS with international development programs. Or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 5 - 7 years relevant experience; Or PhD, MD or similar degree with 3 - 5 years relevant experience. Overseas field experience required. Fluency in English required; Khmer language ability will be an asset.

Deputy Director, Bangladesh
Primary function is to be responsible for the overall management and supervision of the program and technical units of FHI/Bangladesh. Responsible specifically for providing leadership and management of program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of FHI/Bangladesh HIV/AIDS program including the associated technical assistance requirements. Management tasks include working with implementing partners (agencies) in project design, proposal development, contractual agreement, monitoring, technical inputs and project evaluation. BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs experience; or MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience; or PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience. 3-5 years of supervisory experience and overseas field experience required. Deputy Director, India
The Deputy Director will provide overall leadership and technical guidance for managing the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supported grants, as well as the India component of the DFID-supported Reaching Acrossing Border (RAB) Nepali Migrant's Project. She/he will provide leadership and management for program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the above FHI/India projects. The incumbent will represent and act for the Country Director when requested. BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs experience; or MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience; or PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience. 3-5 years of supervisory experience and overseas field experience required.

Director, SAMARTH Project (India)
Provides overall leadership and technical guidance for managing the USAID supported SAMARTH project in India. Main duties and responsibilities include: Liaise with USG India Mission, USG partners, NACO, SACS, GFATM and the National Ministries to address the TA and capacity building needs; Coordinate with the SAMARTH technical partners; Provide leadership, technical oversight and guidance to key project staff; Participate in strategic planning for the FHI Country Office and the development of the Annual Workplan and Budget, etc. BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs experience; or MS/MA in public health or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience; or PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience. 3-5 years of supervisory experience. * This is not an expatriate position. Director, Programs (Nigeria)
To support the Deputy Chief of Party (Management) and Chief of Party in providing management and technical oversight of FHI's USAID/Nigeria-funded program to ensure that the overall project is effectively and efficiently implemented; to supervise the work of the Associate Director/s Programs, the Zonal Managers and other select staff. BS/BA in public health or related field, and 11-13 years relevant experience in international development programs with 5-7 years supervisory experience. or MS/MA/MPH and 9 - 11 years relevant experience; or PhD, MD or equivalent degree with 7 - 9 years relevant experience. Overseas field experience required.

Medical Advisor for Research, Infectious Diseases (Bangkok, Thailand)
Provides leadership, scientific and technical assistance in infectious disease research in areas including, but not limited to, malaria, tuberculosis, avian influenza, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. Develops resources and relationships and supports resource development activities for increasing FHI’s infectious disease portfolio and intramural research. MD or PhD/DrPH with at least 5 years relevant experience in infectious and tropical diseases (experience in malaria is mandatory) and at least 9 years experience in public health or related field with international development programs. Overseas field experience required. At least 8 years clinical research experience in resource-constrained settings. Fluent English language skills (written and oral).
