Global Health Council - Job listings at 'Career Network'

We have launched our new website at http://www.globalhealth.org and
Career Network is now available exclusively in electronic form. Tak-
ing advantage of the Internet's speed, the Global Health Council be-
lieves that applicants will be able to access job listings faster and
employers will update the postings more frequently.
Employers listing jobs will be able to post them directly on the Web-
site's Career Network link:
http://www.globalhealth.org/jobs
after registering on site. The site includes links to job banks of
the organizations that register. We also encourage organizations to
post any internship or volunteer positions for students, health pro-
fessionals and concerned citizens who are looking for opportunities
to participate in international health projects.
Job seekers, who are members of the Global Health Council, will be
able to access postings, and post resumes for employers to view, as
well. There will be no fee for this service, as the Council believes
this is part of its mission to help global health care workers commu-
nicate and build alliances.
The new website also features 'The Resource Exchange':
http://www.globalhealth.org/exchange
- an online database where goods and services can be listed and re-
quested. For example, an organization that has a million Vitamin C
tablets near expiration can post these goods, and a Council member-
organization that needs these tablets can access these listings and
contact the vendor.
Organizations that need goods and services can also list these needs
on the Resource Exchange, so that donor organizations can browse the
needs of our members. Anyone can list goods available, but only mem-
bers can list services available or view goods and services avail-
able.
