International Health Discussion Group
-------------------------------------
Dear colleagues,
I am a graduate of the University of Zambia, in Medicine, and have
spent some years working for World Vision International in Canada and
Malawi. I am a practising doctor in Canada now, but I retain a strong
interest in work in Africa. I have begun a new e-mail discussion group,
described below.
This is an e-mail list for people interested in working in health (pub-
lic health and clinical) in countries other than their own. Membership
is subject to approval, based on demonstrated interest or experience in
overseas work. An opportunity to share experiences relating to work in
Health/Development overseas, to advertise job opportunities, and to
converse with others who have worked overseas.
Group Moderator: ihealth-owner@egroups.com
To subscribe, send a message to:
<ihealth-subscribe@egroups.com>
or go the this e-group's home page at:
http://www.egroups.com/list/ihealth
My particular interest is to get hospitals in Africa, that have e-mail
access, to subscribe, to advertise their needs, and to lend their ex-
pertise to the discussion. This is entirely a non-profit endeavour, mo-
tivated by a genuine interest in promoting understanding between people
in North America and elsewhere in the world.
Best wishes,
Pierre
