Another aspect of the CHC to consider: ..
Mary Kay,
Please let me know what version of the CHC has some attraction.
I am interested in some positive feedback as well. I am afraid that I
would strongly disagree with you regarding the issue of personal
responsibility for health. Yes, I would agree that many health risks are
beyond the individual's ability to deal with them. However, that does
not mean individuals cannot attempt to better their health.
Responsibility is with the individual and the medical community.Actually, I
can't believe I am attempting to respond to such a fatalistic approach to
health issues in the developing world. Perhaps I am missing your point.
Clarification would be appreciated.
No, I have never heard of "upstream thinking". Please enlighten me. You
mention the more effective use of existing data. This is much too general
to formulate an objective response. Please clarify. I think that if you
would examine the IMPACT methodology and/or presentation you would see that
the methodology is sound. The CHC needs to be considered within the context
of the methodology. A hard copy presentation of the IMPACT System is
available if you would like...and it's free.
