As the main offender of lengthy contributions to this conference I
would like to express my appreciation to Tony for his defense. I
would certainly 'ditto' his comments. HIS is a complex issue and the
need to qualify main points is justifiable. I have received several
direct requests for additional information regarding the methodology
presented in this conference. Hopefully, other non-responders have
benefited as well.
As a recent subscriber to the conference I don't recall seeing any
guidelines regarding the nature, recommended length, or quantity of
the contributions. Some of us are not familiar with the limitations
of some subscriber's systems. Certainly I would like to comply with
any guidelines that would attempt to accommodate these limitations.
Dieter, if you could provide some guidelines and/or other
information it would be helpful. Thanks!
Perhaps the Afro-Nets conference needs to consider 'sub-conferences'
based on specific topics, such as HIS, that interested parties can
subscribe to. Certainly the amount of interest expressed in the CHC,
as well as HIS in general could warrant consideration.
