Allow me to brief you on a HIS debate that touched a lot of the Health Management Information System (HMIS) experience in Tanzania. Unfortunately I can not report on all the discussion but only a few items. This was a very peculiar time here to have a very lively health Debate. It was attended by about 50 participants from different nations as there was an international course running at the District Hospital. Most of them were clinicians. Local participants were in the majority being Medical Assistants diploma students, their tutors and researchers from the centre and the Hospital. The following text comes from the announcement, and the OVERVIEW given by myself to introduce the motion.
