Mike,
Thanks for the tip on bar coding. We have considered that option,
but have put it on the back burner due to several factors. Due to the
embryonic status of the project it is not considered a priority at this
time. Then there is the additional cost factors, both in the printing of
the cards, as well as the hardware to support the technology. At this
stage economics is a big factor. Once the usefulness of card has been
established we can "upgrade" the card. Though there is general enthusiasm
and interest in concept of such an instrument, there is significant concern
for the initial costs involved.
