HIV/AIDS Ad Infinitum

Aren't there other health matters of concern to subscribers of this
list other than HIV/AIDS? And abortion (never mind the euphemism repro-
ductive) health? Isn't it about time to reconsider the issues since
most of the "prophesies" about HIV/AIDS and Africa have not turned out
to be true? Is the prevalence rate as high as we have been led by the
WHO to believe? Perhaps there is need to debate the annual 'guessti-
mates' of HIV prevalence and infection rates. Not just accept the esti-
mates as true and the basis upon which policy must and should be formu-
lated.
