International Conference on Traditional Medicine Practice
---------------------------------------------------------

5-6 April, 2000
Accra International Conference Centre
Accra, Ghana

Theme: The Indispensability of Traditional Medicine in the Modern So-
cieties of the World

Dear Sir/Madam

We are pleased to inform you that Africa First LLC is a travel com-
pany domiciled in the State of Minnesota, United States of America,
and specializes in the promotion of cross-cultural and medical tours
to West African countries of Benin, Ghana and Senegal.

One of our major concerns is the universal acceptability of herbal
medicine and the proper role it has to play side by side with conven-
tional medicine to enhance health care delivery system in order to
assure the well-being of people in every community of the world in
the year 2000 and beyond.

Because of this concern, we have proposed to the Ministry of Health,
Republic of Ghana, to host an International Conference on Traditional
Medicine in Accra, Ghana on the 5th and 6th of April, 2000 under the
theme "The Indispensability of Traditional Medicine In the Modern So-
cieties of The World". Since the Government of Ghana attaches serious
importance to traditional medicine, the Ministry of Health has ap-
proved of our proposal.

We have completed an international publicity for the Conference to-
gether with inbound and outbound travel arrangements for participants
to the conference.

We are now inviting practitioners, nurses and students of conven-
tional and traditional medicine and personalities interested in the
advancement of traditional medicine to join the Ministry of Health of
Ghana and Africa First LLC at the conference.

Beside the educational nature of the conference, there will be tours
to scientific, religious, cultural, historical and other interesting
places in Ghana and also a wonderful opportunity for those who want
to do shopping in golden and diamond jewelleries, rich fabrics and
handicrafts of Ghana.

We cordially welcome you and members of your institution to be part
of this great event.

Sincerely yours,

J.William Danquah
Chief Executive Officer
