Dear Friends in Africa,

I am writing to remind you that Galillee College, the leading higher
education institute in Israel in training professionals and senior
personnel from Developing Countries, invites you to nominate candi-
dates to participate in our Health Systems Management course to be
held on November 1 - November 20, 2000. Galillee College actively co-
operates with other institutions abroad in a wide variety of manage-
ment training activities. We will be accepting applications for an-
other month. The same course will also be held next year on March 7 -
March 26 and October 17 - Nov. 5, 2001.

As in past years candidates who meet the following requirements are
eligible to qualify for a FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP (Value of USD
3,575):

* Minimum requirement - first degree from university - B.A., B.Sc.
  (or equivalent)
* Must be proficient in English
* Hold citizenship in their country of residence
* Work (or with experience) in the area of management they wish to
  study

Candidate/sponsor has then only to cover the LOCAL EXPENSES FEES of
USD 2,865 + air fare to and from Israel. These Local Expenses Fees
cover: full board, accommodation (based on 2 sharing a room), airport
transfers, study tours, study materials, computer services and teach-
ing medical insurance, laundry service, weekend excursions (visits to
important historical, archaeological and religious sites in Israel).
This covers all the candidate's needs while studying at our program
for the 3 wk period. (A little pocket money is suggested for personal
purchases.)

Each interested applicant should send a completed Registration Form
and Curriculum Vitae either by E-mail,Fax or by mail (to Fax and
Address below). Registration Forms + C.V. should be submitted at least
8 wks before commencement date of course so that we will have
sufficient time to request and arrange entry permits.

PROGRAMME OF STUDY

The course comprises 8 academic study hours per day (10 academic
hours), five days per week, including appropriate study tours. The
total number of hours for the course is 150.

Weekly excursions to historical, religious and archaeological sites
in Israel are included in the programme.

LOCATION

The course (+ accommodation) will be held at the Galillee College
Study Center on Kibbutz Mizra in northern Israel-near Nazareth/Afula.

DIPLOMA

Participants who successfully complete the course work, including
submission of the Final Report will be granted a post-graduate Di-
ploma by Galillee College (approved by Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
