Male Response to Female Condoms - A Query

Dear All,
The Mpumalanga Department of Health is about to embark on a campaign of
wider distribution of female condoms. These are being targeted to dis-
advantaged women particular to those involved with the formal and or
informal sex trade.
One of the things we have noticed in the four pilot distribution sites
is the increasing demand by males for this product. In one area sex
workers are even charging higher sex prices with the female condom than
without.
I would be interested to hear if any other colleagues have noticed
similar findings in their areas of work.
