NGONet Africa

Dear Colleagues:
The African Telecom Summit will be held in Accra, Ghana between the
21st - 23rd March, 2000. A special discount of 10% of the registration
fee has been negotiated with organizers of the conference for members
and partners of NGONet.
We plan to host a planning meeting at the Summit and discuss the Stra-
tegic Plan of NGONet. We would also at the summit present activities
for the next year and update the attached database of members amongst
other things.
Visible and active participation of African NGOs at the Summit is im-
portant not only for the planning process of NGONet Africa. Participa-
tion at the Summit will also provide an opportunity for NGOs to network
with other actors in the development of ICT in Africa and provide op-
portunities for learning and ICT application to development practices.
