Publishing from Africa (3)
--------------------------

Dear Ron,

In response to your message I will ask academics and WHO staff in
Khartoum about this. My experience has been that I can get research
money more easily when teaching at a university in a so-called
developing country, but trying to get publications in peer review
journals is more difficult in these countries because it is hard to
write (fewer electronic means, slower research because basic sources
are not as available, etc.).

I would be very interested in your findings.

Regards,
