RFI: HIV/AIDS and Agriculture at FAO
------------------------------------

Dear colleagues,

I have recently joined the Food and Agricultural Organziation (FAO)
to start to look closer at what the organisation can do about
HIV/AIDS impact-mitigation/prevention in Africa. At the moment I am
developing Guidelines for an Information, Education and Communication
(IEC) Strategy to prevent/mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS morbidity
and mortality on rural farming communities and households in Sub-
Saharan Africa.

I would like to know whether you could put me in touch with special-
ists working in a similar area and also if you have any documents
(html or other) regarding IEC for impact mitigation. I'm aware of the
fact that it's quite new to combine AIDS and Agriculture especially
when it comes to impact-mitigation but there's always the first step.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
