[afro-nets] RFI: Public Health online courses

I am exploring options to take a public health course online. I will be happy if you can propose affordable schools to me. I strongly consider factors such as the cost, the duration and credibility of the institution in question.

Thanks and regards

Penn

Dear Penn,

You may wish to have a look at the USAID online courses at the Global Health eLearning Center at http://www.globalhealthlearning.org/. These are free, open to the public, online courses of 1-2 hours duration that you can take and obtain certificates for. Courses include Long Acting and Permanent Contraceptive Methods, Data Quality, Commercial Private Health Sector Basics, Logistics for Health Commodities, and more. While it's not one public health course, it has many components that are excellent. Look for a new course to be added later this month on mobile health 101.
Best,
Laura
