RMBC Bednets, Treated Tents + Rapid Tests

Dear Roll Back Malaria Colleagues
RMBC (Reduce Mosquito Bites Consortium) are happy to announce that we
have expanded our product range to include treated bednets (ITN's),
treated tent material/tents for refugees with knockdown and repellent
properties, low cost mosquito repellent soap, natural extract repel-
lent candles and repellent lotion (safe for use on children under the
age of 5), malaria field (rapid) test kits.
RMBC attended the specification meeting for bednets in Geneva earlier
this year and will endeavour to lead by example - all our bednets
comply with these latest bednet specifications of WHO and have shown
good strength - in some cases even after 4 years of daily use. Pre-
treated bednets and our "POWER Tents" will bring a new dimension to
our malaria prevention activities - especially with products suitable
for displaced persons (refugees).
RMBC are extremely optimistic with our progress relating to the re-
duction of taxes on bednets in the South African region and we call
on all those who attended the Abidjan Summit on Roll Back Malaria in
April to stand together and speak out for Malaria prevention.
