[afro-nets] Teaching Resources for Medical Schools in Africa

A new free resource at
http://www.medicalteaching.org
has been developed to collect together websites useful to tutors in African medical schools to assist them in preparing lectures, tutorials etc in the field of international health. Still in its infancy, we hope that it will be the focus for the sharing of websites, full-text documents, curricula and other materials between medical schools in Africa; funding is being sought to continue developing the resource at a number of medical schools in Africa, to enable more resources produced in Africa to be included. We hope that other heath care professionals involved in teaching may also find them useful.

We are keen to receive feedback on progress so far and would welcome suggestions on resources that could be included and areas that need further development. An online evaluation form is available on the website, which we hope you will find time to complete.

This project was funded by the Royal Society of Tropical Medical & Hygiene (UK), Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and the Wellcome Trust.

Best wishes
