Dear Sirs/Madams
The Management/Board of Trustees of Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial
(MLKM) Clinic, Ghana, West Africa, takes this opportunity in introduc-
ing to you the above Telemedicine/Telehealth project in Ghana.
We are seeking affiliation to international organisations involved in
Telemedicine/Telehealth in order to enhance our strength in assisting
the communities in Ghana with the opportunities in harnessing Informa-
tion and Communication Technology (ICT) in improving heath care serv-
ices in the country, particularly to the disadvantaged, rural communi-
ties.
We would like to have technical/financial assistance in pursuing our
programs which are mostly integrated in nature and would involve the
academia, public and private hospitals, clinics and laboratories as
well as NGOs.
In this case we appeal to your good will to come and support us in this
project, which is the first of a kind to be undertaken in Ghana.
We would be most grateful and thankful too if you could further intro-
duce us to some other international bodies which can facilitate and
promote the project in various ways. We would also like to network with
similar institutions/organizations involved in Telemedicine/Telehealth.
