FINAL NOTICE FOR REGISTRATION
Africa First, LLC serves final notice that the Government of
Senegal has decided that we hold the 4th International Confer-
ence & Exhibition on Traditional Medicine "Traditional Healing &
HIV/AIDS" on October 4-6, 2004 instead of the original date of
July 19-21, 2004 due to the Bangkok World Aids Conference ending
on July 16, 2004. The Senegal Government is worried that its
delegates attending the Bangkok Conference will not be able to
attend the Senegal Conference because of the time frame. We re-
gret any inconveniences.
In the meantime, final notice is also being given to all inter-
ested in attending and exhibiting at the conference to complete
registration by July 31, 2004.
Africa First, LLC is hosting this conference in collaboration
with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Republic of Senegal
and the Senegal National Council Against HIV/AIDS, the African
Council on AIDS Service Organizations (AfriCASO), the Environ-
mental Development Action In The Third World (ENDA), the Asso-
ciation for the Promotion of Traditional Medicine International
(PROMETRA) and the Society for Plant Medicinal Research (GA).
The unique feature of this conference is that it will bring to-
gether traditional healers and conventional medical practitio-
ners from various parts of the world to search and develop low
cost, effective and sustainable therapies for HIV/AIDS from
natural products and practices.
The conference will also create avenues for conventional medical
practitioners and indigenous healers to discuss preventive ap-
proaches so that together they will enhance the global capacity
for prevention and elimination of HIV/AIDS and related diseases.
