Vitamins
--------

In Feb I'm going to Kenya and Uganda. Although it's a vacation, the
nurse in me refuses to quit. I'm toying with the idea of bringing pre-
natal vitamins and kid-sized doses of vitamin A. Does anyone know
1) if this is worthwhile, and
2) what are the best age ranges for the kids to get vit A to protect
their eyesight, and what exactly are kid-sized doses?

I would be grateful for a frank assessment of the worth of dosing this
and the technical advice to do so if it works out.

Regards,
Janice
