For those interested in infection control
There are two newly updated WHO guidelines published on the web (in English and French). They are targeted towards acute respiratory diseases but are a useful reference on standard precautions as well.
This first one addresses everything from hand washing, use of alcohol based hand gel, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), sharps handling, linen and waste management to cleaning. It uses a lot of pictures for explanation so that is good for educational purposes. It also addresses droplet, contact and airborne precautions and shows how and when to use masks.

The second one addresses special procedures for respiratory diseases like nebulizing, collection of sputum, suction, bronchoscopy, intubation etc. It also addresses triage and general nursing care. They only use one page per procedure so the information can easily be distributed to places in your hospital/clinic where these procedures take place.
