According to Bloomberg’s Kendall Taggart this contaminated methotrexate story “follows a small but crucial manufacturer of cancer medicines that has had a series of serious quality problems in several countries. In Colombia, for example, four children died and more than a hundred fell ill. In Ethiopia and India, cisplatin from this manufacturer was found have insufficient active ingredient.”
