Happy to share with you the details of the presentation of the briefing 'Medicine pricing and access in Europe and beyond' accessible here

As mentioned in my previous mail, it will also be a chance to discuss with all participants how the positions and actions of European Union institutions have evolved, as well as look more closely at the experiences of Member States, with the Netherlands and Italy as case studies.
Some questions I believe can guide our conversation:
* How has the situation of prices of medicine in the EU evolved in the last five years and what factors are driving it?
* How can processes like the WHO-led Fair Pricing Forum contribute to lower medicine prices at national level?
* Have the voluntary inter-country cooperation efforts, such as the Beneluxa or the Valletta Declaration, achieved their stated goals and what could be the next steps for such initiatives?
* How should Civil Society respond to the medicine prices debate and what initiatives are worth pursuing?
