Dear E-DRUG subscribers;
WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmacotherapy Teaching and Training
is happy to announce the launch of WHO Guide to Good Prescribing WWW
site.
The Guide is printed by WHO in 1995 (authors: de Vries, Henning,
Hogerzeil, Fresle), and aims to assist medical students and doctors
to acquire necessary skills and knowledge to select and use drugs
rationally.
The web site includes three sections:
1. Complete Guide: Includes all illustrations in the hard copy
2. Text-only Guide: Does not include any graphic files (for
low-bandwidth access)
3. Archives: Downloadable files in different formats for off-line
use.
The original web site is in the Netherlands (see below), and there
are two mirror sites in the US. Negotiations for additional mirror
sites in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Slovakia and
South Africa are continuing. (Other mirror site nominations are
welcomed to enable easier local/regional access. Please contact
