E-DRUG: Availability of Essential Medicines in Pakistan- A comprehensive Analysis

Sharing here an important publication on Availability of Essential
Medicines in Pakistan through a comprehensive document analysis published
in PLOS ONE last week

I would like to invite E-drug members and especially the senior colleagues
who have been an inspiration for my work since 2000 when I first joined the
E-drug Forum.
This study is a comprehensive and organized approach to exploring the
access to essential medicines at national level. The publication provides a
step-wise process for exploring the availability of EMs. The magnitude of
EMs non-availability related to absence of market authorization has much
been unexplored in literature and this study reveals the major chunk it
occupies in Pakistan.
Many thanks to E-drugs Forum for keeping the spark alive for the
researchers committed to Access to EMs.
