[e-drug] Banning metamisole in Moldova (6)

E-drug: Banning metamisole in Moldova (6)

------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Colleagues in Moldova,

With respect, the argument over metamisole adverse drug reaction
profile as presented in previous e-drug messages is irrational. In
fact I found it difficult to understand that a drug with serious adverse
drug reaction profile such as metamisole, be available in a
developing country because someone would like to collect more
adverse drug reaction data. This Practically mean allows death,
harm, and more needless injuries to Moldovian people from well
known dangerous drug. The strong evidence about the danger of
this drug urged other countries long ago to take actions and ban
such drug. It is the responsibility of the health care practitioners in
Moldovia to protect people by taking similar action and not waiting
for more data that probably will never exist. If you have no adverse
drug reaction reports related to metamisole it certainly does not
mean that you have no problem with the drug. Very few health care
practitioners would report adverse drug reactions because no one
like to admit harm doing.
