E-drug: Banning of Codeine (cont)

With reference to Md. S.Rahaman's comment I would like to share one
information which is that--
After banning the following three categories of FDCs in India---
1)Fixed dose combination of Salbutamol or any other bronchdilator with
centrally acting anti-tussive and/or antihistamine.
2)Fixed dose combination of centrally acting anti-tussive with
antihistamine having high atropine like activity in expectorants.
3)Preparations claiming to combat cough associated with asthma
containing centrally acting anti-tussive and/or an antihistamine.
the composition of Phensedyl Cough Linctus has been changed to--
Each 5 ml Contains
Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4 mg
Codeine Phosphate 10 mg
