E-DRUG: Briefing/training course on The International Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Int.) 2 April 2014

WHO's Medicines Quality Assurance Group will organize a training course on The International Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Int.), which will be held at WHO headquarters, Geneva. The purpose of this training course is to brief interested parties about the activities related to the Ph.Int., how it fits into the overall WHO quality assurance activities, giving an overview on the scope, processes and collaborating partners. In addition, one session is devoted to the technical polices in relation to the Ph.Int., the monographs' structure, the methods of analysis and impurity control. Experience on the development and implementation will be shared by colleagues from the WHO collaborating centres and the WHO Prequalification Team-Medicines.

The training course will take place on 2 April 2014. Stakeholders interested in participating are encouraged to submit their

Expression of Interest (EOI) to WHO Medicines Quality Assurance <bonnyw@who.int>
(deadline 15 March 2014).

The draft agenda will be sent to participants after their registration. Kindly note that it will not be possible for WHO to cover any travel cost.
