E-drug: Call for bad adverts for MaLAM slides www (cont'd)
---------------------------------------------

Joan Levin and David Gilbert have challenged me to expand the focus
from advertising to "marketing".

Marketing includes 4 Ps:
1 Matching the Product to the market.
2 Setting the Price.
3 Choosing the Place (market segment) to target.
4 Promotion (activities intended to increase sales) (I would classify
Joan's and David's examples here.)

Advertising is printed promotion.

I asked for adverts because I need images for the teaching materials.
However the Medical Lobby for Appropriate Marketing is always
interested in receiving and acting on examples of inappropriate
marketing as is indicated by the name of our organisation.

And now the use of incentives as a promotional technique: If you send
us one or more bad adverts then we will give you a free subscription
to the International MaLAM editions for free! Sending scanned images
gif or jpg is as useful for us as sending the originals by post.

Regards,

Peter
