E-DRUG: Call for evidence - inquiries on access and innovation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all,
- Apologies for cross posting -
As you may have seen the UK All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on HIV & AIDS and the All Party Group on Global TB have launched separate inquiries into access to medicines and innovation for HIV, TB and global health. The reports, as impartial cross-party publications, have the possibility of having significant influence on policy discussion on these issues in the UK and globally.

The APPG on HIV & AIDS' inquiry is a follow up to the 2010 Treatment Timebomb report, which was widely cited as shaping thinking on improving access to ARVs in developing countries. It will look at progress made since the last publication, and emerging threats and opportunities.
Written submission deadline: 19th March

The Global TB APPG inquiry will consider the broader context of R&D for global health before focusing on specific challenges in TB treatment, diagnostics and vaccines.
