E-DRUG: Rational Use of Medicines Short Course in Tanzania
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Keith,

what you raised is very pertinent.
[Call for papers on improving access to medicines]
For the purpose of strengthening the health systems and building capacity
of the providers in the facilities etc, we in Tanzania are planning to conduct
a short course for health workers.

The course will focus on the WHO facility indicators
and assessment tool of rational use of medicines and will include a 2 days
physical visitation for assessing some selected health facilities by
applying the WHO tools followed by a day of data analysis and report
writing then sharing the findings.

We have noted that, the area of rational medicine uses requires active
involvement of all medical practitioners and therefore the course will target,
pharmacists, medical doctors and all involved in drug utilisation activities/researches.

The course announcements can be accessed at:

www.muhas.ac.tz.

Those interested can upload the information and contact the course organisers.
