E-DRUG: Drug information: questions and answers

E-DRUG: Drug information: questions and answers
-----------------------------------------------

Dear E-Druggers,

We invite you to check out our drug information question and answer
web page (see http://www.pharmacy.co.nz). It is been improved
continuously. As more questions and answers are entered and archived
it should grow in value as a usable drug information database. New
questions are entered every 2 days and this gives practitioners the
opportunity to do their own search and put together an answer, that
can be compared with our own answer that appears as the next new
question is entered.

We invite feedback and comments as we are committed to the
philosophy of quality assurance and peer review. Further to this we
will soon request input from other pharmacists to either assist in
peer review or contribute highly relevant questions and answers. One
well researched question and answer per month each from 10-15
practitioners could make this a very powerful and inexpensive drug
information resource.

We would like to semi-formalise the process soon and have a panel of
international moderators and contributors. Please register your
interest at this stage. It will not take much of your time but your
input could be of great value.

With support, it would be possible to set up simlar question and
answer cum database facilities to cater for specific needs. We are
also working on how to make this facility available to health care
professionals without access to the www.
