E-DRUG: pharmacist v/s physician? (cont'd)
-----------------------------------------

I do understand Dr.Offerhaus's point about having many options to treat. I
am a pharmacist who spent 16 years in an acute care pediatric University
affiliated hospital. So I do understand the acute environment. I in fact
had to go to autopsies of patients that I had cared for along with the
medical, surgical, and nursing teams. The one thing I found is that working
together and taking advantage of everyone's skills saves lives. I am also
seeing an increase, in my consulting practice, of drug induced diseases.
When the professionals don't work together and take advantage of everyone's
skills bad things happen to our patients.

Just my thoughts!!!
