E-drug: Essential drugs in Tokyo University (cont)
---------------------------------------------

From the few responses to Francesco Flores's request I have read so far, I

wonder if his problem has been uniformly understood.
I have therefore sent him a "conceptual framework" on poor access to
essential drugs which we have been trying to develop and optimise here at
the Department of Essential Drugs and other Medicines. It is still early
days but we reckon that if optimised it can be used both as a learning and
advocacy tool and perhaps, even more importantly, be applicable to all
situations of the world, rich or poor.

I am prepared to send this to anyone interested, with a view to getting
input towards optimisation and eventual publication for global use.

There are many signs that the movement towards universal access to
essential drugs is gaining momentum. The more the better!
