E-drug: Evidence-based consumer drug information (cont'd)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Alan Cassals and those that might be interested, the British
Medical Association has produced a book entitled "New Guide to
Medicines and Drugs." It claims to be an essential family reference
to over 2500 prescription and over the counter medications,
including vitamins and minerals. It gives for each drug general
information, information for users, possible adverse effects,
interactions and special precautions. However it does not state the
evidence on which its information is based, so it may not be what
your require. It cost about 25 USD and is not, as far as I know,
available on the web.
