E-drug: Evidence-based consumer drug information (cont'd)

Your question is hard to answer. As texts intended for consumers
typically lack references, it would be difficult to tell whether, say, a
leaflet from the pharmacy is based on the best evidence, unless one
spent a lot of time examining the contents of it. Could you specify
the criteria for accepting that consumer info is evidence-based, or
perhaps give an example of a source that you feel qualifies as
evidence-based info for consumers?
