E-drug: Generic quality (cont)
---------------------------------------------
Thanks Kirsten. I will follow the leads you gave me.
What I am concerned about are generic medicines produced in developing
countries. The issue for me is not whether there are legal procedures to ensure
quality but if there is evidence of sub-quality and bad quality of those drugs.
Are there studies, apart from the ones you mentioned and R. Laing
mentioned, on quality of generic drugs produced in developing
countries? There was one by WHO recently which sounded alarming and
lately there was alarms from India.
