E-drug: Gertrudes Hospital publishes Paediatric formulary (2)

Finally, the efforts of the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee at
Gertrudes Garden Children's Hospital, Nairobi, Kenya has borne fruit in
the publication of a Paediatric formulary and a booklet on
Antiretroviral USe in Children

Congratulations to Dr Ojoo and to Gertrude's Garden. It's good to know
that their experience has resulted in such useful resources.

I can imagine that many other people and health facilities around the
world might want to get hold of one or other, or both, of the two
publications.

Is anyone going to help to make these two documents accessible to the
wider world, whether via internet pdf files or whatever?

There is a dearth of accessible information on this topic that is directly relevant to limited-resource settings.

Dear colleagues

I have forwarded this information to Gertrudes Hospital in Nairobi. The current position is that UNICEF paid for the typesetting, design and printing of 1000 copies which I believe is scarcely enough for the Kenyans.

I will be able to post more information once I get if from them.
