Further, you might like to try and get in touch with the International
Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) in Kenya, who are
working on processing artemesia into pills.

The contact is

As I understand it artemesia has to be grown above 2000m and harvested
before flowering, and there is no commercial value if artemesinin
content is below 0.5%.

Kenyatta Unversity in Nairobi is also involved in growing artemesia and
distributing seedlings to farmers who might like to switch from coffee
or tea to artemesia. Their experience may be of use if you intend your
project to involve the communities in and around which you work.

The contact person is Prof Alloys Orago and I only have a telephone
number +254 2 810901.
