E-drug: hep B vaccine-dose (3)
Dear E-Drug Users,
In Pakistan, the recommended dose of Engerix- B is 20 mcg
and 10 mcg for adults and children respectively, at 0,1 and 6 months.
The recommended dose in Japan is 10 mcg and 5 mcg, for adults and
children respectively.
To our knowledge no local trial has been conducted to establish a
higher dose in Pakistan.
Please help me out as to the possible reasons.

[seems that Japan is using lower dosages than Pakistan and Norway. Anybody
in Japan knows the reasons for this? Has anybody asked the company involved?
